Kampong Cham—The Kampong Cham NSSF branch officials of Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training certified that 27 workers fainted at 7:40 am of 18 September 2018 in JUHUI FOOTWEAR CO.LTD located in Kabas village, Khvet Thom commune, Prey Chhor district, Kampong Cham province.
After receiving this news, the NSSF team went to the scene and collaborated with the factory administrators to facilitate and take preventive measures on such faintness by sending all faint workers to get the emergency in the Prey Chhor referral hospital, Kampong Cham province.
The cause of faintness in the factory above started from a female worker, Heanh Sreylai, 28, works in sewing ward, group 13, who had a cold with the symptoms of fever, chill, and dizziness fainted in the sewing building. At that time, the workers who were near the scene and saw the incident panicked, numbed in limbs, and fainted massively (MPI) totaled 27 female workers.
The Kampong Cham NSSF branch officials certified that by 11:40 am, all faint workers were hospitalizing in the Prey Chhor referral hospital and got better.
The cost of transportation and medical care services until recovery is borne by the National Social Security Fund (NSSF).
