  • NSSF TECHNICAL OFFICIAL OF CAMBODIA ATTENDED SOUTHEAST ASIA AND ASIA-PACIFIC REGION WORKSHOP AT NEW DELHI, INDIA

    IndiaRelated to the Southeast Asia and Asia-Pacific region workshop above, H.E. Ouk Samvithyea, Delegate of Royal Government in charge as Director of the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) of the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training, nominated H.E. Heng Sophannarith, Head of Policy Division and Representative of the National Social Security Fund Cambodia, to attend the fourth bilateral workshop between Southeast Asia and Asia-Pacific regions on “Health Financing Policy for Payment Strategy Implementation with Efficiency and Effectiveness” sponsored from WHO-World Bank.  

    This workshop focuses on 04 main points as follows:

    -To share experiences of some countries in Southeast Asia and Asia-Pacific regions, including Cambodia.

    -To study and find the solution for provider payment methods with efficiency and effective.

    -To study the service cost and the agreement-signing strategy between public and private health facilities with transparency.

    -To study provider payment methods suitable with the context of each country.

    It certified that this workshop was participated by 14 countries including Armenia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, Viet Nam, representatives of WHO and World Bank, and expertise from a lot of countries amounted to approximately 90 participants. Hence, this workshop lasted 4 days from 10 to 13 June 2019 and hosted in New Delhi, India.
