Phnom Penh—On 16 September 2019, H.E. Pen Norakvuth, Acting Director of the National Social Security Fund and Representative of H.E. Ith Samheng, Minister of Labour and Vocational Training, presided over the Industrial Workshop on Translating Strategy to Action and Promoting Road Traffic Safety for Workers in Garment and Footwear Sector to be held at Himawari Hotel. This workshop was take part by representatives of ministries, institutions, organizations, and other enterprises/establishments.
This workshop aims to contribute to promoting road traffic safety for workers and cutting down traffic accident at the lowest level.
Meanwhile, H.E. Pen Norakvuth also appealed to all worker-transporting drivers and workers for strictly obeying 10 moralities for road traffic safety as follows:
- Don’t overspeed
- Don’t drive under the influence of alcohol
- No drowsy driving
- Drive by obeying the Traffic Law rigorously
- Wear helmet regularly
- Keep right
- Get vehicle inspection regularly
- Drive carefully.
