  • NATIONAL SOCIAL SECURITY AND FUND (NSSF) ATTENDED MULTI-COUNTRIES KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE MEETING ON HEALTH INSURANCE SCHEME IN BANGKOK, THAILAND

    Thailand—H.E. Ouk Samvithyea, Delegate of the Royal Government in charge as Director of the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) of the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training, nominated 3 Delegates of NSSF to attend the Multi-Countries Knowledge Exchange Meeting on Health Insurance in Bangkok, Thailand. H.E. Sum Sophorn, Deputy Director of the National Social Security Fund, certified that this meeting focuses on different phases of establishing and extending health insurance coverage and 6 challenges as follows:

    • Strategic orders
    • Prevention against fraud and corruption
    • Information technology solutions
    • Establishment of Health Insurance Institution at the national and sub-national levels
    • Relation and Information
    • Capacity Building

    This Multi-Countries Knowledge Exchange Meeting on Health Insurance in Bangkok, Thailand, is sponsored by Gesellschaft fur international Zusammenabeit (GIZ and lasts 4 days from 30 July to 02 August 2019. H.E. Sum Sophorn, Deputy Director of NSSF, accompanied by Mr. Srel Sithat, Official of Health Insurance Division, and Mr. Hubert Zander, Advisor of NSSF, attended the meeting that was also participated by Health Insurance Institutions of India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Thailand amounted to approximately 40 participants.
